The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Senior Product Manager to collaborate directly with product stakeholders and senior leadership to oversee product development and product focused program execution across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Will discover and develop the product requirements, project design and execution to enhance the value and cost-effectiveness of all outcomes across the product areas for which they are responsible.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Digital Technology Services (DTS) Senior Product Manager at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Holds accountability for all projects within owned product areas.
  • Defines product vision and goals, monitors progress against goals, and supports team members in efforts to meet goals.
  • Indirectly oversees a multi-disciplinary team as it works on product development, support, and / or transformation.
  • Works with organizational leaders to identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Defines cross-divisional product governance and management policies and procedures.
  • Implements and monitors cross-divisional product governance and management policies and procedures.
  • Represents division across various organizational forums.
  • Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching for data analysts and their managers.
  • Serves as the organization-wide content expert on owned product areas.
  • Identifies product problems, assists in researching solutions, and recommending corrective actions to achieve higher levels of integrity and efficiency.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare, or clinical informatics.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading other analysts or full product life cycles.
  • Strong Program and project management skills in tracking scope, cost, and schedules related to product development, implementations, programming, integration, conversion, and testing.
  • Expertise in enterprise data products and processes such as application integration into workflows, data warehousing, data governance, data architecture, integrations, emerging data stores and technologies, Oracle DBMS, GCP, BigQuery, and data modeling tools.
  • Strong ability to manage success across a portfolio of initiatives.
  • Excellent oral, writing and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with varying audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate goals, plan and implement processes to achieve those goals, recognize and assess the implications of confounding variables.
  • Independent working ability with strong time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Master's/PhD degree in computer science or related field; or Board Certified and licensed MD; or DO with minimum 3 years clinical experience.
  • Competent in python or R.
  • Competent in analytic and statistical methods.
