The Intern, Talent Development will assist the Learning & Development Team within the Human Resources department in the creation of team member programs under Team Hackensack Meridian University. They will participate in the research and concept development of those programs. The intern will also assist in assessing the Learning & Development website, and will curate content from LinkedIn Learning and other virtual platforms. In addition, the intern will have an opportunity to rotate to the Organizational Effectiveness Team for assignments at the site level, as well as the Talent Management Team.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Intern, Talent Development at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Supports the Talent Development team by contributing to program development and project deliverables.
  • Assists in the research and concept development of Learning & Development programs.
  • Conducts research on Talent Development best practices to develop quick reference guides and presentations.
  • Evaluates data from the Learning Management System.
  • Creates summary reports from focus groups and interviews.
  • Evaluates content and flow on internal Talent Development web pages.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor's degree (must be entering junior or senior year).
  • Proficient with the computer applications.
  • Strong communication, public speaking, and customer service skills.
  • Conscientious self starter with good organizational skills.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Undergrad business courses.
