We have several Applications Analyst positions available. They are focused on the Epic revenue cycle modules as well as Epic modules in the inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary areas. We are seeking analysts at all levels. The Applications Analyst reports to the manager of a designated team supporting the application, and the modules include the following: Ambulatory, ASAP, IP Willow, Ambulatory Willow, MyChart, Beacon, Beaker, Cupid, Radiant, EpicCare Link, ClinDoc, Orders, Infection Control, OpTime, Anesthesia, Research, Cadence, Prelude, Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Claims, Grand Central, HIM, Coding, Rehab, Stork, Home Health & Hospice, Healthy Planet, Epic Security and Epic Bridges.

 

These are Hybrid Positions which require being on-site up to 50% in Edison, or at various HMH locations, as needed.

 

Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Applications Analyst I at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • The Applications Analyst I gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives.

 

A day in the life of an Applications Analyst II and III at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • The Applications Analyst III gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works with little or no supervision and acts as a resource for lower level Application Analysts.

 

A day in the life of an Applications Analyst IV at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • The Applications Analyst IV gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works independently and acts as a resource for lower level Application Analysts.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required For Application Analysts I and II: 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of  0-2 years of IT experience and/or 0-2 Years of Clinical experience.
  • Possesses beginning to solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Works independently and effectively manages time with supervision or minimal supervision.
  • Strong experience with Google workspace 
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.
  • Collaborates with other team members across the department.
  • Demonstrates self-direction.

 

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required For Application Analysts III and IV: 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of IT experience preferably in healthcare or related field OR 2-3 Years of IT experience and 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Possesses comprehensive to expert knowledge of subject matter
  • Works independently and effectively manages time with little or no supervision and or has the ability to organize and coordinate the actions of small groups to achieve departmental and organizational goals
  • Strong experience with Google workspace
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.
  • Collaborates with other team members across the department
  • Demonstrates self-direction.

 

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Information systems application build and/or support for Level I
  • Healthcare experience or related field for Level I, II
  • Bachelors degree for Level II, III, IV 

 

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Epic Certification within 6 months of entering position for Level I 
  • Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or where applicable, other relevant applications experience for Level II, III, and IV
