Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably within business administration, finance, or accounting.
- A minimum of five years of professional accounting, business administration, finance, or information systems
experience, preferably in a hospital setting. - Demonstrated experience with personal computer-based applications including spreadsheets, word processing, and
data base systems. - Report writing capabilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Experience in process improvement and lean principles and tools strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience with
OR block scheduling and benchmark management for staffing strongly preferred. - Management experience in a Perioperative environment preferred.
- Experience with Perioperative documentation.
- Very strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Knowledge of EPIC.
- Familiarity with Perioperative processes.
- Strong public speaking/presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of Staff, Management and Physicians.
- Must be able to handle multiple complex tasks and priorities.
- Must be a dedicated team player with the willingness and desire to learn and grow within the organization.
- Must be a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with perioperative products and equipment.
