The Provider Network Liaison Manager is responsible for leading a team that will execute the full range of provider relations and service interactions for Hackensack Meridian Health Partners (HMHP) Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). The role provides internal and external support to the CIN Operations and operating partner teams by planning, delegating, and following-through to completion all tasks related to provider operations and special projects. Functions of the Provider Network Liaison team include but are not limited to on-boarding CIN physician practices, facilitating the business relationship with HMHP and Participants; coordinating with other internal departments to provide optimal customer service to network providers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Provider Network Liaison Manager at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Leads team that plays a vital role in driving the success of the CIN, fostering strong relations with key stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless execution of various CIN-related projects.
  • Manages team that act as liaisons between Physicians, HMHP management, commercial payors and internal stakeholders to keep all relevant parties informed of activity in the provider market.
  • Oversees team performing customer support to our network participants, ensuring inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Performs face-to-face meetings to promote adoption of best practices by engaging stakeholders on recommended workflows and performance objectives.
  • Educates team on use of score cards, physician comparisons and incentives to drive performance.
  • Assists in the development and maintains the operations of HMHP's preferred network and Inner Circle to achieve goals established by the HMHP Board of Directors.
  • Coordinates and supports the development and implementation of physician education sessions, training programs, meeting adherence and other related CIN activities.
  • Focus on improving Key Performance Indicators per direction of HMHP leadership.
  • Responsible for being in the field minimum of 25% of time.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or other relevant area of study.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of work experience of direct employee management.
  • Minimum 5 - 7+ years work experience in value-based models and managing implementation activities, program operations and performance management.
  • Experience leading teams, including the following key abilities: strong and continuous follow-up, setting and meeting expectations, thoroughness in documentation, backup planning and anticipation of shortfall/failures.
  • Proficiency with developing tracking and monitoring tools, Standard Operating Procedures, schedules, progress reports and supporting materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CMS and commercial value-based incentive programs.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

  • Certification in Lean Six-Sigma Processes, other clinical or business certifications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent certifications or work experience.

Starting Minimum Rate

Starting at $131,144.00 Annually

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
