Manager is responsible for coordination and daily operations of the Family Health Center program which includes seven specialty clinics (pediatrics, OB, GYN, medical, podiatry, surgical, and infectious disease). The manager acts as an clinical resource to staff, physcians, and patients regarding the program. Represents Riverview’s Family Health Center on the hospital leadership team, reporting on relevant data and key metrics. Responsible for developing and managing the budgets for assigned areas, including monitoring and analyzing key financial indicators and performance metrics. This includes modifying business activities as needed in response to changing financial situations.
Ensures that these areas are addressing the initiatives purposefully and proactively. Establishes staffing according to departmental goals and budgets, while accountable quality initiatives including patient satisfaction and providing the best experience to all patients and guests.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the delivery of clinical services. Manages clinical and support staff. Responsible and accountable for daily operations to achieve best practice and organizational objectives. The Nurse Manager is responsible for implementation of the strategic plan and standards of care and practice in accordance with regulatory requirements within the Family Health Center. S/He develops, coordinates, integrates and oversees inter-disciplinary programs, monitors performance standards and existing practices and designs new systems to improve organizational performance and staff competence.
S/He is responsible for demonstrating leadership, providing staff development, ensuring competence and collaborating with Medical Staff and Senior Management to deliver high quality, cost-effective care across the continuum. He/she is responsible for the daily operations of the Family Health Center. S/He will have strong knowledge of performance improvement, manage and coordinate the activities of the Nursing Team to ensure patient care is provided in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements.
